2026 Inside Out Guardian Zone
Time flies. Following its warm reception in previous years, the highly acclaimed Inside Out Guardian Zone English Teacher Training Event returned this June for another tour across northern, central, and southern Taiwan, with events held in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.
This year’s theme, Future Ready English Teaching, focused on three key dimensions of teaching: Tasks, Competencies, and Global Values.
Throughout the full day event, from morning to afternoon, our experienced team of speakers shared a wide range of practical teaching ideas with participating educators. Topics included how to grasp the key elements of Task Based Learning and transform different types of teaching materials into engaging learning tasks, how to use reader stories to naturally and effectively build students’ social and emotional learning (SEL) in English class, how to apply CLIL to guide students in learning content, thinking independently, and exploring new knowledge about the world through meaningful reading, and how AI technology can be used to enhance learning outcomes.
The event also featured workshop sessions, giving participants the opportunity to put new ideas into practice and experience hands on the teaching approaches they had just learned. This lively educational event also created a valuable space for exchange among Caves Publishing, our speakers, and all participating educators, inspiring new ideas and fresh perspectives through meaningful interaction.
