In Inside Out Teacher’s Manual Starter, you will find activities, drills, and games that all serve a specific objective, though often more than one, toward improving students’ language skills. For example, the Warm-Up activities suggested at the beginning of each lesson serve two purposes. They help prime students’ brains to learn English, especially when they come from a non-English-speaking environment. They also review language that was previously taught so that students are ready to build on it in the current lesson. Games and activities listed within each lesson are suggestions and can be replaced with others as you see fit to suit the needs of your students and class schedule.
